On the other hand, hiring a full-service designer can be prohibitively expensive for some and leave others feeling like they want more control over the process. Material Board Key

  • Highlighting key characteristics (and dimensions, if applicable). This key is designed to give guidance on materials while empowering you to take advantage of products and materials local to you.

Artistic Rendering

  • One colorized artistic rendering of the room, shown in perspective view. This provides a visual of the cohesive look. Note: not all room components may be included in the rendering.

  • Guide to spotting quality items and what to avoid (written under the consult of a furniture maker).

  • Many people tell me they know what they like, but they can’t put it all together. The perspective rendering will give you that visual of how the elements come together. The furniture plan will help you with spatial planning and size requirements of furniture in the space.

  • Clear and concise deliverables in a set timeline. The completed package will be delivered to you 4-6 weeks after the virtual consult.*

*All necessary photos and dimensions must be submitted in order to ensure a timely delivery of the Room Blueprint. Based on current demand, lead time is subject to change.

How Do I Get Started?

  • Submit the Contact Form

  • Once your project has been approved, you will receive the Agreement, Invoice, and Questionnaire via email. Please complete and return the Questionnaire and Agreement via email and pay the Invoice via ACH or CC.

  • You will receive a Welcome Email to set up the virtual consult, as well as Item Dimension Worksheets and a Floor Plan Worksheet. You’ll be on your way to creating the room of your dreams!

  • Many popular online interior design services advertise their fast and affordable design solutions; however, make sure you know what you’re getting for your money. While the Room Blueprint will give you a roadmap and clear vision to empower your design journey, most online services will provide more of a shopping list, featuring trendy, generic, mass-produced, poor-quality furniture and furnishings. Additionally, not all options will allow you to select a specific design partner who aligns with your vision, and that person may not have design credentials or experience. Maragaret Winter Interiors has been in business over 10 years (and even longer in the design industry), and we are clear about our Values. If you desire high quality, sustainable, and nuanced design solutions, incorporating a blend of new and old, tailored to your lifestyle and aesthetic, you’re in the right place!

  • Living rooms, family rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, sunrooms, foyers, hallways, and any other space not requiring renovation work.

  • The Room Blueprint is conceptual in nature and does not take the place the construction drawings, provided by a licensed architect or builder. 

  • The Room Blueprint will provide a guideline for measuring out your room and your furniture. If you still have questions, we can address those in your initial consult.

  • While we do our best to take all design direction provided in the questionnaire and consultation, we cannot guarantee your satisfaction with the results. The Room Blueprint is designed to provide design direction. If certain elements in the design aren’t for you, that’s ok! The Material Board Key and Buying Guide will give you the tools to swap out specifics and create a space that you’ll be sure to love. Additional charges will apply for re-work requests and additional design schemes.

  • The Room Blueprint is designed to give you the tools to implement the design at your own pace and on your own budget, which means that materials shown in the Material Board are meant to be placeholders for your future purchases, and the Material Board Key will give you the recommended design elements to look out for when shopping. Clients seeking more detailed design direction and furniture specification may wish to continue through to Full-Service Interior Design. That being said, the Material Key will provide links for purchasing when we would like to feature a small business or a specific product; however, there is no obligation to purchase.
